The ride to Lleida was VERY long. Along the main road it was an easy 70km but the traffic was quite heavy and it was too hot to keep my helmet on. So I turned off into the hills to take an alternative route. It was very quiet and picturesque but long with many climbs to small passes. In the end I cycled 91km and did 1600m of ascent. I was knackered.

I didn’t stop to take many photos and there’s no video diary today – I just had to plug on. The good news is that land speed record has been nudged up again to 58.5kph.

Here’s the river Ebre which I have been following north for days

This is my blog of my trip around Spain, off road, on my mountain bike. The story is told in full in my book "Three Wheels on my Bicycle", available on Amazon in Kindle or hardback.
