Today was interesting. I spent 6 hours investigating the hills north of Malaga, trying to find an off-road route that went over them and to the north. Spain seems to have been suffering from the same cold Spring we have had in the UK (though obviously warmer than here). But at last the forecasts are looking good, and I have agreed a departure date with my long suffering wife. My ticket is booked for the Sat 30th March.

My planning is almost complete now – I have all the kit I need, I’ve learned how to use all the technology and I know where I’m going (well, roughly anyway).
